Sarah Silverman May Help FIFA promote Soccer in USA with Nude Shower Scenes

First it was the Daily Show and Stephen Colbert popularizing news by mixing it with comedy. Next it was Cosmos, with Neil deGrasse Tyson teaming with Seth Macfarlane in Cosmos to popularize science.

Well, get ready for the next mash-up. FIFA, the international men's football association, is said to be negotiating with Sarah Silverman to help make soccer game more popular in the United States by taking showers with the players.

Ms. Silverman, who portrayed a prostitute in the recent movie "A Million Ways to Die in the West," who is noted for her use of sexual humor, and whose full frontal nudity was filmed during a shower scene for the movie "Take This Waltz" is now believed to be in "serious negotiations" with FIFA promoters. It is not known at this time whether she would be showering with individual male players, small groups, or entire teams.

Bestselling author Kathleen McGowan announces retreat for writers in Scotland

Kathleen McGowan is Holding a Writers' Workshop in Scotland

Kathleen McGowan is the bestselling author of the "Magdalene Line" novels. They include "The Expected One", "The Book of Love", and "The Poet Prince."

Every two years, Ms. McGowan holds a retreat exclusively for writers, and one has been announced for the autumn of 2014, from the 12th through the 22nd of September.

Called the "Writers' Grail" it will happen in a truly special place -- the Island of Iona on the west coast of Scotland.

Writers of fiction and non-fiction alike will get a jump-start on their creative process, gaining inspiration from sacred sites in Edinburgh, Rosslyn and the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

Because of the personal attention participants will receive, group size must be limited to a maximum of 20 people, and Kathleen McGowan's tours usually fill up very quickly, so an early reservation is recommended to avoid disappointment.

This group tour program is being offered by Body Mind Spirit Journeys, a leader in sacred places travel and pilgrimage retreats.

Finding part time jobs in Vancouver BC

As tough as economic times may be in Western Canada in the first month of 2014, and with a lot of unemployed men and women hunting for work, it still holds true that not everyone is looking for full time employment. There is still a big demand for part time jobs.

With all of the benefits of having a job that is categorized as full time, meaning generally around 25 to 40 hours per week, why would someone not want all of the perks, such as extended health benefits and other reasons why that go along with it. Perhaps there is a health issue, and someone does not have the strength nor stamina for a full time job. Also family commitments to elderly parents, a disabled person or young children could also come into play. For whatever reason, it is a fact that a great number of men and women are looking for part time jobs in Vancouver and the surrounding metro greater area.

For a time we recommended free classified ad sites such as Kijiji and Craigslist as good free sources for employment listings.

We recently have found another free website that may just give the aforementioned ones a run for their money. It is www.parttimejobsinvancouver.com and, as the name says, it specializes in listing part time jobs in Vancouver. When we checked it out recently, we saw listings for restaurant workers, including cooks, cleaners and servers, general laborers, office and administrative support positions and in general a wide array of employers seeking reliable staff to fill openings.

With anything on the internet, one has to be careful. Other websites that offer free listings can sometimes be littered with scams selling expensive investments cloaked as home based business opportunities, so due diligence is always recommended.
