If you have been involved with Internet Marketing and making money online for a while, you have probably heard about website flipping. You buy or set up a website, and then you sell it for a profit. Well, that's the theory anyway. In fact, it's not as simple as it looks.
One of the best marketplaces we have found for selling websites is Flippa.com. We have sold several sites on Flippa, but not every one of the websites we have tried to sell actually was purchased.
Recently we learned of a very good way to make our sites for sale more attractive, and that is to add extra value in the form of bonuses that are only available to purchasers who use the "Buy It Now" feature and buy the site for a premium dollar amount from us.
What kind of bonuses work well to add value and stimulate sales? Here are some successful methods we have seen...
1. Offer free hosting. Chances are you already are paying for a hosting account that offers unlimited domains, unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage, so this would not cost you anything extra. You could also get a very inexpensive reseller hosting account so your purchasers would have their own cPanel, an even more attractive feature. We recently discovered that Dollar Host Club is offering reseller hosting plans that start as low as US5.00 per month.
2. Offer free traffic. We know one savvy Internet marketer who promises that he will deliver 10,000 visitors to a website - guaranteed - when someone uses "Buy It Now" on Flippa. How can he guarantee 10,000 vists? Simple. He buys them from MaxVisits.com. You can buy really cheap traffic from MaxVisits. How cheap? As low as one dollar for 1,000 visits. If you can buy 10,000 visits for $10 and then sell your site for an extra $100, you've earned an extra $90 for almost no work at all!
